First Indo-Japan Global Partnership Forum was organized by India Center Foundation in year 2004. The objective of the Forum was to encourage co-operation in the fields of economy, culture, tourism and sports. Policy makers, opinion leaders, business leaders and academicians from both the countries gathered for the First Indo-Japan Global Partnership Forum to discuss various challenges, aspects, possibilities and to draw a road map for the future. A road map was drawn in form of an informal understanding amongst leaders of two sides. Mr. Nikai Toshihiro, Member LDP, lead Japan and Shri Suresh Prabhu, Member of Parliament, lead the Indian Side.
